Black Friday Expert is the largest platform in Flanders and Walloon in the field of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In 2017, almost 250,000 visitors selected their favorite deals on this platform. Nowadays almost 600,000 visitors pass us by. This growing popularity could be due to the amount of collaborations.
We work with more than 100 well-known and unknown partners. Some of the known partners are Coolblue, MediaMarkt, ColliShop and Krëfel. Besides visitors on the website, Black Friday Expert also has a fanbase on social media and via e-mail. The two most popular social media platforms for Black Friday Expert are Facebook and Instagram. Almost 5,000 people follow Black Friday Expert on Facebook and 2,000 people follow us on Instagram. Thereafter, we send a couple of newsletters to almost 12,000 subscribers in the period of Black Friday. These different platforms create a lot of possibilities and opportunities for advertisers.
Most of our visitors are between 25 – 34 years old. The other most common age group is 34 – 44 years old. There is not a big difference in the gender of the visitor. More males visit Black Friday Expert (53.8%) than females (46.2%). Thereafter, most people live in cities like Antwerp, Gent and Brussels.
People in the target group 25 - 34 years old would like to receive information about smartphones, Google, holidays and fashion. The older target group is more interested in information about white goods, cosmetics and living & interior. There are differences in the interests of males and females. Males would like to have information about electronics, tv’s and audio. Females on the other hand would like to receive more information about leisure time, cosmetics and living.
There are multiple possibilities for advertisers to draw attention to their brand. One of these possibilities is to publish a deal square on the Black Friday overview page.
